LABORATORY FLEXIMETER CC96-2019
A benchtop instrument made of powder-coated steel, featuring precision electronics for determining the flexural breaking load (maximum load) of ceramic
or similar specimens.
This semi-automatic unit features a steel platform equipped with two oscillating supports (knife-edges)—manually and individually adjustable—which hold the
specimen to be tested.
Adjustments are made using millimeter-scale reference markers.
The steel platform rises automatically via an electromechanical drive at a designated “approach speed.”
The control unit automatically switches this approach speed to the testing speed, in accordance with relevant standards.
The upper knife-edge presses down on the specimen until it breaks.
The control unit reads the transmitted data, records the value at the moment of specimen failure, and processes the information.
Upon completion of the test, a USB drive can be inserted into the instrument’s port to save the test data in Excel format.
With this instrument it is possible to determine the flexural strength, the breaking module, and the curvature arrow of the sample, operating according to the Standards: UNI EN ISO 10545-4
