Universal torsion viscometer, model TV/30/A. (Gallenkamp type).
Manually operated, and with lifting system of the sample cup. Comprises a wire with vertical torsion, a disk mounted on a graduated scale, and a cylinder suspended under the scale. When the disk is rotated by 360 °C and then released, the braking effect of the sample on the outer part of the cylinder is used to measure viscosity. Ranges from 0.25 to 1000 poises. Supplied complete with 1 graduated scale, 1 torsion wire mod. 30 SWG, 4 measuring cylinders (diameters 1/4″, 1/2″, 11/16″, 1+ 5/8″), 1 stainless steel sample cup ø 76×67 mm.
