POROSIMETER SERIES PN-Q45


It’s a FLOOR-STANDING instrument used for the determination of the apparent porosity of ceramic specimens according to UNI EN ISO 10545-3 and 10545-12 standards.
The method is based on water impregnation of vacuum ceramic test pieces so that all open pores are filled.

STEEL PENCILS FOR MOHS SCALE HARDNESS TEST


This tool is used to perform a scratch test on materials to determine Mohs’ hardness of the surfaces (scale ranging from 1 to 10 where the Talc is
softest -Mohs 1-while Diamond is hardest -Mohs 10-).
To use it, simply scratch a smooth surface of the material to test with the picks of various indicated hardness.
As an example, if a No. 5 pick scratches the mineral, but a No. 4 pick does not, then your mineral’s hardness is 4.5.
Examples of materials on which industry uses this tool:
Concrete, Faucet finishes, Touch screens, Plastics and Glass materials, Countertop materials Flooring products, etc.

DUROMETERS DM/34 SERIES (Penetrometer)


Used to determine the depth of penetration of a flat headed pin into pressed raw ceramic tiles.
Indispensable for producers of floor and wall ceramic tiles especially with single firing processes.
Calibrated spring system, with special reading comparator reset process that can be carried out only occasionally, that makes the relative tile measurements in a few seconds.
The mod. DM/34 penetrometer therefore makes it much easier to carry out daily checks on pressing uniformity. The large stainless steel base makes it easy to perform tests in the centre of the sample, up to a size of 40×40 cm, and up to a size of 70×70 cm upon the model. Main body and various supports in stainless steel and alluminium.



Caratteristiche tecniche


Complete with various accessories for use and maintenance, 5 flat head pins with areas of 0.75-1.00-1.50-1.75-2.00 mm2, that, together with an additional 3 kg calibrated spring and a special supporting head, allow the instrument to be used on a wide range of pressed materials, from the softest to the hardest.
The 1.50 mm2 pin and the 4 kg calibrated spring are already mounted on the device.
